A man built a 13-foot long, 66-pound canoe out of 7,382 disposable wood chopsticks he took from from his office cafeteria. This is a cool-looking, innovative canoe. Check out the photo.
Doesn’t say if they were used chopsticks or brand new ones…
Regardless, that works out to roughly 8 packets of chopsticks per workday.
Not allowing for vacations, holidays, or sickdays, but rounding up to a whole number, I do the math as follows: 7,382 chopsticks divided by 2 chopsticks per pack, divided by 2 years, divided by 12 months in a year, divided by 4 weeks in a month, divided by 5 workdays in a week.
That’s some habit!

Reminds me of the humorous song by Johnny Cash “One Piece at a Time” about Detroit auto worker who decides to build a Cadillac by stealing one piece at a time. He takes the small parts home in his big lunchbox.
The Video is hilarious. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59H4S-a8Wj4
I grew up in a GM town and this song was hugely popular.
