The state of the finance world reminds me of Marvin the Martian, the manic Looney Tunes character that ran around with his ray gun. I can hear him asking his famous lines: “Where’s the kaboom? There was supposed to be an earth-shattering kaboom!” and “This makes me so angry, very angry indeed.”
Alas, it is likely the recent turmoil is not the kaboom. The real kaboom is yet to come.
